DESCRIPTION:Gregory Burrus Productions Joins YES Program Students at the NY International Auto Show to Spotlight Youth Innovation and the Fight for Racial Justice\n\n\n\n\n\nNew York\, NY — April 3 – 12 \, 2026 — At this year’s New York International Auto Show\, visitors will encounter more than horsepower and design. They’ll discover a powerful collaboration between the Paterson YES Program students and Gregory Burrus Productions\, united under the theme “What’s Going On — Jazz\, Justice & Youth in Motion.” \n\n\n\nThe YES Program’s student‑built race car is more than a technical achievement — it is a rolling platform for truth‑telling\, designed to spark conversation about racism and how it shapes the American experience. The project invites the public to reflect\, respond\, and engage with the lived realities of those who encounter racism every day. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“The mission of ‘The Race Car’ is to spark conversation about racism and how it is embedded within our society. The car allows for the personal experiences of those who encounter racism to have a public forum to discuss\, display and debate how it shapes the American reality.” — Dr. David Byer-Tyre\, sculptor\, educator and African American Historian. \n\n\n\nGregory Burrus Productions brings a cultural and musical dimension to the project\, connecting the students’ engineering brilliance with the spirit of jazz — a genre rooted in resilience\, truth\, and community expression. \n\n\n\n“Jazz has always been a voice for justice\, and these young engineers are carrying that legacy forward. ‘What’s Going On — Jazz\, Justice & Youth in Motion’ is our way of honoring their courage\, creativity\, and commitment to change.” — Gregory Burrus\, Producer and Love Music Ambassador. \n\n\n\nThe collaboration bridges music\, innovation\, and social awareness\, offering Auto Show attendees a chance to witness how youth creativity can drive meaningful dialogue and inspire collective action \n\n\n\n. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLearn more about the YES Program and the story behind the Race Car here: 🔗 https://www.tapinto.net/towns/paterson/sections/education/articles/paterson-students-showcase-replica-race-car-through-yes-program \n\n\n\nEvent Appearance: April 3 – 12 \, 2026 — 10:00 AM – 5 PM \n\n\n\nDetails: New York International Auto Showhttps://gotickets.com/new-york-auto-show?region=9&fv=1&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=bing&tid=kwd-82739949035376&agid=1323814719804026&cid=523660001&int=59981&pres=58318&network=o&msclkid=50a6a1dfe8301b10e5cac812cbeeb1ab
