Lee has worked with legendary artists such as Dizzy Gillespie\, Max Roach\, Sonny Rollins\, McCoy Tyner\, and Aretha Franklin\, among many others. \n\n\n\nHe is also known for his long association with Dizzy Gillespie\, serving as the bassist for various ensembles led by Gillespie\, including the Grammy-winning United Nation Orchestra. Beyond performing\, Lee has produced over 70 albums and engineered more than 100 recordings. \n\n\n\nCurrently\, he is the executive and musical director of the Dizzy Gillespie All-Stars\, continuing to celebrate and preserve Gillespie’s musical legacy \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThe Back Deck Returns!\n\n\n\nEntering its sixth year\, the popular Back Deck concert series returns with a robust season of performances featuring big international names and regional superstars in jazz\, classical\, and genres in-between.
