Lee has worked with legendary artists such as Dizzy Gillespie\, Max Roach\, Sonny Rollins\, McCoy Tyner\, and Aretha Franklin\, among many others. \n\n\n\nHe is also known for his long association with Dizzy Gillespie\, serving as the bassist for various ensembles led by Gillespie\, including the Grammy-winning United Nation Orchestra.
