He studied classical piano and music theory at the Manhattan School of Music and was mentored by the late Morris Nanton of the famed Morris Nanton Trio—a relationship that deeply shaped his lush chord voicings and tasteful phrasing. \n\n\n\nBefore settling into jazz piano\, Glenn played percussion in Willie Sossa’s salsa band and electric bass in various R&B groups\, giving him a rhythmic versatility that shines through in his playing. His performances with Meant To Be are marked by swinging standards\, elegant improvisation\, and a deep connection with his fellow musicians\, including Alan Hayes (bass). \n\n\n\nWhether he’s interpreting “Autumn Leaves” or navigating the complexities of “Giant Steps\,” Glenn brings warmth\, precision\, and a sense of storytelling to every note. \n\n\n\nJohn DuBose – Saxophone Soul from North Jersey \n\n\n\nWhen the groove demands heart\, flair\, and fire\, John DuBose answers with his sax. From solo piano sets at Union County Performing Arts Center to dynamic trio performances at Shanghai Jazz\, Leonieke’s artistry bridges generations and genres. Her Generations of Jazz series—featuring legends like Bill Crow and her father\, drummer Nick Scheuble—celebrates the timeless spirit of hard bop while spotlighting her own original compositions. Whether leading a classic trio or collaborating with vocalists and horn players\, Leonieke brings elegance\, swing\, and a deep reverence for jazz history to every stage she graces. \n\n\n\nBassist Bill Crow\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLegendary jazz bassist Bill Crow is a living bridge between eras\, having played with icons like Gerry Mulligan\, Stan Getz\, Benny Goodman\, and Marian McPartland since the 1950s. With a career spanning over seven decades\, Crow’s deep swing and storytelling bass lines have anchored countless ensembles\, from smoky club quartets to Broadway pit orchestras. At 97\, he’s still performing—most notably with Leonieke Scheuble’s Generations of Jazz Trio\, where his timeless groove continues to inspire new audiences. Whether on stage or in print (he’s also the author of Jazz Anecdotes)\, Bill Crow remains a cherished voice in the rhythm section and in jazz history itself \n\n\n\nGuitarist Marel Hidalgo \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSixteen-year-old guitarist Marel Hidalgo is redefining jazz fusion with a vibrant blend of Caribbean rhythms\, Latin flair\, and classic jazz standards. Hailing from Bradley Beach\, NJ\, Marel has performed everywhere from the Exit Zero Jazz Festival to Bryant Park’s New York Guitar Festival\, where he paid tribute to Jamaican legend Ernest Ranglin. His quartet’s recent show at Terraza 7 showcased a powerful journey through the African diaspora\, while his upcoming appearance at the Morris County Library in April 2026 celebrated Jazz Appreciation Month. Whether soloing on “Cherokee” or grooving through calypso and ska\, Marel’s artistry bridges generations—making him a natural fit for cross-cultural series and this Generations of Jazz event. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nDrummer Nick Scheuble\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJazz master Nick Scheuble is lighting up New Jersey’s stages this season with soul-stirring performances that span the region’s most iconic venues. Whether driving the groove with Leonieke Scheuble’s Classic Trio or honoring the legacy of bassist Bill Crow in the Generations of Jazz series\, Nick brings a rhythmic storytelling that bridges past and present. Catch him live around New Jersey and more. From hard bop fireworks to organ trio warmth\, Nick’s artistry keeps jazz history alive—one beat at a time. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nCome experience the fusion of Jesus and Jazz featuring Radam Schwartz and friends as they uplift your spirits and leave you feeling inspired. \n\n\n\nLet the Spirit move and the music uplift — Jesus and Jazz is calling! 💫
