We’re hosting a special gathering for all music lovers where you can feast your ears on the amazing sounds of this noted jazz performer.  \n\n\n\nNote This is a free event and seating is on a  first come first served basis. Standing room only once seats fill up.  Doors open 1:45 PM. \n\n\n\nAlex Desrivieres\n\n\n\n\n\nAlex Desriveres – a talented woodwind musician hailing from the vibrant state of New Jersey. With a passion for writing\, learning\, and playing music\, in addition to performing locally in numerous locations around South Orange\, Maplewood\, Essex County\, New Jersey and New York\, this seasoned performer has graced the stages of Norwegian Cruise Lines and Dutch Wonderland amusement park. Notably\, Alex was honored as a “Rising Star” at the esteemed COTA Jazz Festival in both 2015 and 2016.  \n\n\n\nBeyond his impressive musical career\, Alex finds fulfillment in teaching young students\, igniting their creativity through the power of music. Through a teaching style that promotes guided exploration and student-centered learning\, Alex strives to unlock the potential of every aspiring musician.  \n\n\n\nWhen not immersed in the world of music\, Alex finds joy in playing video games\, embarking on adventurous hikes\, and delving into the depths of different languages. Get ready to be enthralled by the talent and enthusiasm of Alex Desriveres! \n\n\n\nJoining Saxophonist and Band Leader – Alex Desrivieres for this 12/25 Maplewood Art Gallery performance; \n\n\n\nGuitar – Derrick CamposDrums – Orion TurreBass – Seniar RainesPiano – TBD \n\n\n\nRepertoire for this.
