2025 Cranford Summer Sounds feat Lynette Sheard
Lynette Sheard is a versatile and accomplished individual with a passion for mental health advocacy and the arts. She serves as the Director of the New Jersey Mental Health Players, a community education program under the Mental Health Association in New Jersey. Through this role, she combines performance art and advocacy to raise awareness about mental health, reduce stigma, and promote emotional wellness.
In addition to her advocacy work, Lynette is a talented vocalist, actor, and vocal coach. She performs across genres such as jazz, R&B, gospel, and pop, and has been praised for her powerful and soulful voice. Her theater credits include principal roles in productions like Dreamgirls, Ragtime, and A Raisin in the Sun. She is also the CEO of Lynette Entertainment LLC, further showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit.
Lynette’s dedication to mental health and creativity has earned her numerous accolades, including recognition for her innovative programming and community impact. She continues to inspire others through her work in both the mental health and artistic communities.
