On Sunday, April 26, 2026, the global spirit of International Jazz Day comes alive at NJPAC’s Chase Room with a powerful, joy‑filled celebration presented by NJPAC and JAZZ HOUSE KiDS. This free community event shines a spotlight on the future of jazz — the young artists, emerging ensembles, and rising stars who are carrying the music forward with passion, creativity, and purpose.

Hosted by the legendary WBGO’s Sheila Anderson, this afternoon brings together some of the region’s most exciting youth jazz ensembles, including:

• Riverdale Country School (Bronx, NY)
• Valley Jazz Orchestra (Annville, PA)
• JAZZ HOUSE KiDS
• NJPAC’s TD Jazz for Teens

These talented young musicians will fill the room with swing, soul, improvisation, and the kind of fearless musical energy that reminds us why jazz continues to inspire the world.
