Please join the Institute of Jazz Studies for an evening of in-depth conversation focused on Judith Tick’s new biography Becoming Ella Fitzgerald: The Jazz Singer Who Transformed American Song. Tick will be joined by musicologist Darren Mueller and John Schreiber, current President and CEO of New Jersey Performing Arts Center and former tour manager for Fitzgerald. This not-to-miss discussion will offer new insight on Fitzgerald’s impact on American music and her enduring musical legacy.
