Carrie Jackson, vocals;
Carrie Jackson is a talented jazz vocalist and performer based in New York/New Jersey. She is known for her expressive voice and ability to blend jazz, blues, and soulful pop in her performances. Carrie’s musical journey began at the age of six, singing in the children’s choir at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Newark, NJ. She honed her talents in Newark, the Jazz Mecca of New Jersey, and studied piano and voice with renowned musicians like Howard “Duke” Anderson.
Carrie has performed with her Jazzin’ All Star Band and has shared the stage with many jazz legends. Her albums, including “The Nearness of You” and “If I Had My Way,” have received critical acclaim. Carrie continues to captivate audiences with her unique sound and dedication to preserving jazz music culture
