Blues bassist/impresario Mike Griot debuts Blues People for the first time at the Downtown Cranford Clock at Eastman Clock Plaza. This “Blues mega-band” features some of the most talented tour veterans you’ll ever see… all together on one stage to present stories and standards like you’ve never experienced!

This all-star band includes Gene Lake on drums (Maxwell/Henry Threadgill/Joe Zawinul/Marcus Miller, David Sanborn), Kelton Cooper on lead vocals and guitar (Kool & the Gang/Black Widow Blues) Ron Thompson or Victor Burks on keyboards and vocals (Jamie Fox, Laura Branigan, JoE), and Mike Griot on bass (Sue Foley, Michael Hill, Omar [Lyefooke], Deborah Coleman, Russell Gunn),

Whether you arrive by car, walking or the 3 minute away Cranford NJ Transit Station, this is a walkable town with lots of businesses to see and enjoy and is a very convenient place to enjoy some live live music.Walk across the street, grab a bite from a local restaurant, settle in to your favorite lawn chair or arrive early and grab a yellow park seat for these special evening concerts in downtown Cranford. Every Thursday thanks to the Downtown Cranford Organization the streets of Cranford come alive with a different sound from the areas local artists curated and produced by Gregory Burrus Productions. Come have a blast with us. as all performances take place at the Eastman Clock Plaza.
