Alex Desriveres – a talented woodwind musician hailing from the vibrant state of New Jersey. With a passion for writing, learning, and playing music, in addition to performing locally in numerous locations around South Orange, Maplewood, Essex County, New Jersey and New York, this seasoned performer has graced the stages of Norwegian Cruise Lines and Dutch Wonderland amusement park. Notably, Alex was honored as a “Rising Star” at the esteemed COTA Jazz Festival in both 2015 and 2016.
Beyond his impressive musical career, Alex finds fulfillment in teaching young students, igniting their creativity through the power of music. Through a teaching style that promotes guided exploration and student-centered learning, Alex strives to unlock the potential of every aspiring musician.
When not immersed in the world of music, Alex finds joy in playing video games, embarking on adventurous hikes, and delving into the depths of different languages. Get ready to be enthralled by the talent and enthusiasm of Alex Desriveres!
