En plein air (“in open air“ in french) is the act of painting outdoors and, in doing so, entirely immersing the artist in the environment of their subject. Through the use of color, movement, and natural light, plein air artists attempt to capture the raw essence of a landscape.
Calling All Artists: 10th Annual Cranford Community Paint-Out
Registration is now OPEN 
Artists will have the choice of seven unique locations around Cranford, as well as an eighth “Artist’s Choice” to make a plein air painting of their own for a chance to win prizes and be on display for all!
