2025 Back Deck Concert Series kicked off last Night. Since COVID this annual event has become a beloved tradition for music lovers in the community. Each year, we strive to bring together talented musicians and create unforgettable performances that leave our audience in awe. Before each concert, you are invited to join us for a pre-performance tailgate.

Bring your own goodies and spirits to enjoy before the show begins. It’s a great opportunity to mingle with fellow concert-goers and get excited for the upcoming performance.At the heart of our Back Deck Concert Series are captivating classical and jazz performances. Our talented musicians bring the music to life on stage, creating an intimate and unique experience for our audience. From classical masterpieces to jazz standards, each performance is carefully curated to provide a diverse and engaging program.

For our opening night, Morris Museum Director of Public Engagement and Curatorial Strategies Jess Van Nostrand introduced the talented ensemble of four string players. We were treated to an unforgettable night with the talented Balourdet Quartet, as they delivered a mesmerizing classical music performance noted for its captivating energy and expressiveness.

Big credit goes to the Back Deck program Team, front desk team to the sound team, I can say It’s a wonderful knowledge seasoned group of folks that help pull this program together. Hopefully the weather will helps us get outside for the upcoming Jazz performance by Armani on June 27, 2025 and all future concerts.
