Essex Funk Collective is a high-energy, genre-blending band rooted in South Orange and Maplewood, NJ, known for delivering electrifying performances that fuse funk, soul, and R&B into a dancefloor-shaking experience. Their setlists span timeless classics from legends like Stevie Wonder and Earth, Wind & Fire to modern grooves from H.E.R. and Daniel Caesar.
While their current lineup featured drummer is away, Victor Jones is a world-renowned jazz drummer whose inclusion would elevate any ensemble. Jones has played with legends like Stan Getz and Chaka Khan, and his style blends technical mastery with deep groove, making him a perfect fit for Essex Funk’s dynamic sound
