Lee Odom Sax

“Sweet” Lee Odom has been playing clarinet for years, along with other woodwind instruments, including flute and bass clarinet. A native of North Carolina, Lee ventured to New York City in 2011 where she quickly found her way into various musical communities. First, she studied the music industry then clarinet performance at Appalachian State University. The music by Sweet Lee and her accompanying bands has been sending lighting vibes throughout the boroughs of New York.

Lucianna Padmore

Lucianna Padmore

Bronx native, New York based drummer Lucianna Padmore has been praised by Modern Drummer magazine for “Deep grooves and serious fusion chops.” Lucianna’s versatile drumming is featured with artists in the Jazz, Hip-Hop, Funk, Rock, Pop and Fusion genres. An alumnus of LaGuardia High School for Music and the Performing Arts and the New School University, she has received awards from Jazz at Lincoln Center and BMI for her jazz improvisation. 

Kim Clarke

Kim Clarke Bass

New York native, Kim A. Clarke, is a parent, bassist, composer, bandleader, website developer, educator and earring designer. She performs alternately on the Acoustic Bass, Electric Upright , four and five-stringed Electric Bass Guitar as the situation demands.

Career

As an acoustic bassist Kim traveled most notably with the late Joe Henderson Quartet (1986-7) throughout Europe. Internationally she is noted as “at home in the Ron Carter School of HardBop”, “a dynamic Woman in Jazz who supported the intense rhythm of the Henderson group with unsuspected vitality and melodic solo passages..” as electric bassist is noted in the bio of the famed bassist Larry Graham; a great early influence on her playing concept. As an electric bassist she has toured most extensively with Joseph Bowie’s Defunkt Downtown in the 80’s & Millenium Lineups

Anna. Caldwell Bronx native, Learned the piano at an early age Graduated Dillard University B.A. in Music Ed Worked at N.Y.C. Dept of Ed 37 years Currently Asst. Director of Music Canaan Baptist Church of Harlem Director of Music Mt Zion C.M..E. church Bronx N.Y. Current Band Caldwell and Friends jazz,Rand B and Gospel Played in the original production of Mama I Want To Sing Received numerous awards for National Contest for Oscar Meyer  Weiner contest won nationals N.Y.S. School Choir Competition First place States Island Choir Competition  first place(3x) Lutheran Gospel’. First place Performed for numerous artists and recording stars currently teaching affordable piano lessons to inner city kids. Received recognition from Delta Sigma Theta, Bronx Borough Arts  NAN ,and The National Progressive Conference for Music in the Church. Composed and arranged Music for off Broadway plays
