Supporting the Next Generation of Global Live Music Ambassadors
Gregory Burrus Productions proudly announces the launch of the Artists Abroad Program, a new initiative designed to support emerging musicians as they expand their craft on the international stage. Rooted in our mission to uplift, educate, and empower young artists, this program provides direct sponsorship to students participating in accredited study‑abroad or international performance opportunities.
Each selected artist receives financial support to help offset essential travel, tuition, and housing expenses, along with a platform to share their creative journey with the North Jersey and NYC communities that helped shape them. In return, participating artists contribute media, reflections, and artistic insights that document their growth and highlight the global reach of our local talent.
The Artists Abroad Program celebrates the idea that when one artist travels, the entire community travels with them — their voice, their culture, and their story carried onto new stages around the world.
2026 Featured Artist: Yasmeena Sharif — London Residency
Our inaugural spotlight artist is Yasmeena Sharif, a rising vocalist and USC music student whose artistry blends jazz, soul, and contemporary vocal expression. This summer, Yasmeena will travel to London to:
- Perform original music at venues across the city
- Record at the legendary Abbey Road Studios
- Write for and conduct a string quartet
- Immerse herself in London’s vibrant musical landscape.
