A very special tribute event. The Barry Harris Institute of Jazz Presents the Richard Clements / Murray Wall 11th Street Bar Band along with special guests including the Barry Harris Jazz Chorus, Phillip Bingham and others.

Barry Harris an Internationally renowned Jazz Pianist, Composer, Teacher and is a National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Jazz Master. He devoted his life to the advancement of Jazz. For the past several decades Dr. Harris has been an exponent of the classic Jazz style that was developed by Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Bud Powell, Thelonious Monk and Coleman Hawkins.

Harris was named an NEA Jazz Master in 1989. He received the Presidential Award from the International Association of Jazz Educators in 1995, received a Congratulatory Letter from the White House for his work in 1998 and was inducted into the American Jazz Hall of Fame in 2000
