MEANT TO BE QUARTET! With Glen Merritt on piano, Alan Hayes on bass, Pete Omelio on drums, John Higgins on trumpet and will feature vocalist Lynette Sheard.  These four fantastic musicians have been playing together for over 15 years and each feeds off of the others’ enthusiasm and improvisations. 

For her inaugural Shanghai Jazz performance Lynette Sheard, a gifted versatile vocalist with a five octave range is also an actor, producer and director. Her performances have been acknowledged in numerous publications including the New York Times, The Record and the Chronicle. The Star Ledger and many of her fans proclaims that “Her voice reaches deep into one’s soul and finds a soft spot” She performs Jazz, R&B, Gospel, Soul and Pop music throughout the tri-state area.
