With 24 albums as a leader and four Grammy® nominations, Herwig stands as one of jazz’s most recorded and influential voices. His celebrated “Latin Side” projects have reimagined the music of Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, and now Chick Corea, blending Afro‑Caribbean rhythms with master‑level improvisation and ensemble fire.
