Mike Bond is a rising, critically acclaimed jazz pianist, composer, music director, and educator based in the New York area, known for his refined touch, deep musicality, and collaborations with some of the most respected artists in contemporary jazz.
Mike Bond is a New York–based jazz pianist, composer, and music director whose refined, expressive style has made him one of the notable rising voices in contemporary jazz. A Rutgers University graduate and mentee of Orrin Evans, Bond has performed with the Grammy‑nominated Captain Black Big Band, tap icon Savion Glover, and leading jazz artists including Curtis Lundy, Billy Kilson, Steve Wilson, and Ben Wolfe. His debut album The Honorable Ones earned four stars in DownBeat and showcases his sophisticated, narrative-driven approach to improvisation. Bond is a member of the Recording Academy, a core contributor to the AAPI Jazz Collective, and an educator at Rider University. His work spans jazz performance, musical theater coaching, and cross‑genre collaborations with artists such as Offset and Babyface.
