Rutgers IJS hosts the NJCU Jazz Ensemble featuring master saxophonist Abraham Burton for an electrifying jazz experience.

The Rutgers Institute of Jazz Studies presents the New Jersey City University Jazz Ensemble, a distinguished collegiate large ensemble recognized for its rigorous musicianship and commitment to advancing the study and performance of jazz. Under the direction of Nathan Eklundโtrumpeter, composer, and faculty member in NJCUโs renowned jazz programโthe ensemble exemplifies the universityโs pedagogical emphasis on ensemble precision, stylistic fluency, and creative inquiry.
